This month the GEPL Board welcomed staff, strategic partners and clients at a special sundowner to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Treated to a stunning sunset view of Elizabeth Quay from the rooftop of The Reveley, guests mingled and chatted about the company’s 20 years of delivering best practice civil and mining services, and award-winning tourist projects in Western Australia.

Proud Nyoongar man, Olman Wally, performed a traditional Welcome to Country and played the didgeridoo before GEPL Chairman, Darren Injie, spoke about the organisation’s rich history.

He said while the sundowner was a chance to celebrate the milestones and achievements of the past, it was also an opportunity to look towards our future.

Mr Injie said the Board had placed great emphasis on adding financial rigour and greater efficiencies across its operations in recent times and was now focused on strategies to strengthen and diversify the business.

To mark our commitment to growth and to engaging better with our stakeholders the event was also the launch of our new look website.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to our journey over the past 20 years – we look forward to continuing our evolution as one of Australia’s most successful Indigenous businesses.
