Tom Price Town
Location
Tom Price, situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is a mining town. The town is located inland, at the edge of the Hamersley Range. Tom Price is the highest town above sea level (747 metres (2,451 ft)) in Western Australia, and is consequently dubbed “Top Town in WA”.
Scope of Work
In 2014 GEPL was commissioned to undertake surveying, civil engineering design, earthworks and construction for roads, drainage and culverts.
This $6million project was part of Rio Tinto’s commitment to the ongoing development of Tom Price and its community.
